Pia Holmberg, born and raised in Stockholm and in the rural settings of Horn (Östergötland) came to Gothenburg for work, but stayed for love. A chemist by study but a baker at heart, she balances her profession with her passion on a molecular level. Her understanding of what happens with ingredients in that sense and her rural background is a true asset when it comes to coming up with new inspiring dishes.
As a true environmentalist she actually takes the bicycle or runs to get to and from work. This keeps her mind set and free from distraction, and gives her inspiration while leaping through forests to find new inspiration.
Pia will be the main player of Bifångst and will guide, inspire and hopefully make you enjoy your experience to the fullest.
